1993 Niva "Vars"
-This little critter was bought in late '02, it's a 1993 base model carbed Niva that I tried to fix up to make road-legal for winter use. I couldn't get it roadworthy in time, and my frustration with carbs put this guy on the back-burner. Click the link below to read all about the work that has gone into this Niva so far:
1995 Soon-To-Be-Rotary Niva
-I bought this guy in early 01 if I remember correctly, the plan at that point was to build a winter beater type Niva to replace my yellow one over the winter. As time moved forward winter came and went and this this found the back burner. In Fall 04 I acquired a Mazda RX-7 beater with a good engine. The plan now is to drop that engine into this Niva and make it RWD only, to build something of a Grand Tourer.
